1. Wear Sunglasses.
Be sure to wear tinted or polarized sunglasses with UV 400 protection whenever you go outside. This will help prevent eye damage from the sun's rays. Important: if you have a prescription, your sunglasses may be custom-fitted.
2. Protecting your skin.
It is important to protect your eyes and the skin around them, for this reason we recommend the use of sunscreen of 50 Spf for your face and body. To complement the protection we suggest the use of hats or caps.
3. Hydration.
Keep your eyes lubricated by drinking enough water and using lubricating drops, especially if you are in dry or air-conditioned environments.
4. Take care of your eye structures.
Avoid looking directly at the sun, as direct exposure to the sun can cause everything from irritation and redness to more serious problems such as cataracts, macular degeneration, conjunctivitis and burns or damage to the retina.
5. Never bathe with contact lenses.
If you wear contact lenses, do not bathe with them. Seawater or swimming pool water has bacteria and microorganisms that can cause eye infections.
